For SME teams starting a project: new software, automation, a first use of AI. In one day, they learn to describe how things work today, gather real needs and turn them into clear requirements. The project is better framed before you sign with a supplier.
Who it is for

How it runs
- 1
Why analysis matters
What a misunderstood need costs a project, and key concepts drawn from the IIBA BABOK. Short and concrete.
- 2
Map a real process
In small groups, participants draw a process from their company as it runs today, then its target version.
- 3
Gather needs
Interview role plays and a mini workshop: open questions, rephrasing, handling conflicting requests.
- 4
User stories and acceptance criteria
Turn the needs gathered into short user stories and testable criteria, reviewed in pairs.
- 5
Prioritise
MoSCoW and a value / effort matrix applied to the list of needs built during the day.
- 6
Where AI and automation help
Find the steps where an AI tool or automation brings a real gain, then write the framing sheet for a small project before anything is bought.

Frequently asked questions
Does this training prepare for an IIBA certification?
No. It draws on BABOK concepts to give methods you can use straight away in an SME, but it does not prepare for an exam.
Do I need an AI project to take part?
No. The method works for any project: new software, reorganisation, automation. The AI part helps you decide whether AI is useful, and where.
Who runs the day?
Mohamad HAJI, founder of TrAInyng, Master in Computer Science (UNamur) and lecturer at EPHEC and IFAPME.
