For all staff, not just IT. In a non-technical session, your colleagues learn to spot a malicious message, protect their accounts and smartphone, and know what to do when in doubt. The examples look like what they actually receive, and the right habits are put in place before the session ends.

Who it is for

  • All staff: office, workshop, site
  • Teams with no technical background
  • SMEs covered by NIS2 or working for clients who are
  • Leadership wanting a shared baseline of good habits

What you get

  • Spot a phishing email, text or call and report it
  • Create strong passwords and use a password manager
  • Turn on two-factor authentication for work accounts
  • Secure a smartphone and install updates without delay
  • React correctly after a suspicious click: who to tell, what to avoid

How it runs

  1. 1

    Scams that target SMEs

Fake invoices, fake suppliers, fake parcel messages, fake helpdesk calls: the common scenarios in Belgium, explained without jargon.

  2. 2

    Phishing workshop

Participants analyse real examples of fraudulent emails and texts, on screen and on their own phones. They find the warning signs themselves.

  3. 3

    Passwords and password managers

Build a strong passphrase, stop reusing passwords and see a password manager in a live demo.

  4. 4

    Two-factor authentication

Why a password alone is no longer enough, and how to turn on app-based verification for work accounts.

  5. 5

    Smartphones and updates

Screen lock, apps, public Wi-Fi, system and software updates. The settings to change straight away.

  6. 6

    When in doubt

A simple internal reporting procedure and public resources such as Safeonweb. Follow-up available through one-to-one coaching.

Formats

  • 2-hour plenary session, on-site and streamed live on Teams
  • Optional one-to-one coaching day: each person secures their own accounts and devices
  • Half day, or a programme of up to 2 days for more exposed teams
  • In-company, anywhere in Belgium

Prerequisites : None: the session is designed for people with no technical background.

Frequently asked questions

Is the session technical?

No. It is for all staff. We talk about the emails, phones and accounts everyone uses, not servers or networks.

Can part of the group join remotely?

Yes. The session takes place at your premises and is streamed live on Teams. The phishing exercises work for remote participants too.

Is this training enough for NIS2?

The Belgian NIS2 law, in force since 18 October 2024, includes training and basic cyber hygiene among its measures. This session contributes to that, with a certificate of attendance, but it does not cover all required measures on its own.

15 minutes is enough to tailor the content, format and date. We agree three indicators together before we start.
